Im a big fan of it doesnt matter what it costs. If it speaks to me and its in the ballpark then I just have to have it. Too much is a very relative term.

Re: RE: Re: What to put on my steyr 95 stock
Thanks for all the advise, i may do a light coat of linseed oil or try the KK. But as JYD mentioned, they are kept in a dry enviroment and i hate getting wet in the rain so they won't get wet (unless of a zombie invasion). Dont do linseed. Stick to lemon oil or Kk. Re: Classic just dropped the bomb.
Lot of hate for Classic around here and price bitching. Pay it or dont. The old days are old for a reason. Order from them or dont. I had the money, I took the gamble. Im very happy with what I got. Ymmv.

Boy oh boy that one is sweet. A Remington is on my short list to set next to my Remington 1903. Very nice rifle.

Re: M39 back in stock
Vendetta, Did you pay for the hand pick option? No, hand pick has been out of stock for awhile. I did send a request in the comment section for a 1943, bluing condition was a nonissue (I like the in the white look), with a nice barrel and wood. They certainly delivered for me. They even had taken t...

Re: M39 back in stock
Looking forward to the pics. I just am at the point where I don't want to buy something sight unseen. If I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any at all. [emoji14] I have been exactly the same way. For some reason I just went rogue on this and couldnt help myself. Im sure glad I did. Will post pi...

Re: M39 back in stock
I picked up my Classic m39 today and I must say it is absolutely stunning. Nice bore, dark but with nice sharp rifling. 40-50% blue imo. I made a request for a 1943 Sako and they accomodated my request. Beautiful stock with plenty of character but no cracking or issues. And the trigger pull on these...

You can run original op rod with an adjustable gas plug or the garand gear plug. Mine runs great with 150 gr commercial and the garand gear plug.

Dead reliable. The 30 rd mags are junk dont waste your money. I like mine. Prefer my 1911s but there is a reason the p95 is on the nightstand with a light mounted to it.

Re: "Actual Shipping Cost"
It means the seller is complying with the law and not using USPS to ship the ammo cheap. Only Fed-Ex or UPS ground will ship ammo and it must be declared and marked , they are not cheap, and his distance from you will determine the cost. This. I shipped some non hazmat reloading stuff in a small bo...

Now there is an M44 in my area. It's missing the cleaning rod and the stock could use a refinish. The seller is asking $200 so I'm going to check it out. I assume that's a pretty fair price?
Thanks!
