Re: NOTICE...ATF CHANGES IT'S MIND
They are still legal to use at designed, as soon as you shoulder it, it is then illegal. I have a SBR, a fun gun but it is so stupid to pay for the tax on a gun that falls between a pistol and a rifle . Is the tax stamp something that needs to be paid every year or is it a one time thing? One time ...

Re: How does one restore the stock on a mosin?
Very nice looking garage. My Dad had a 69 427 tri power Stingray and I loved that car. Theres just something about a vette. Wife want's one... That's for sure. She says I should sell of my guns to buy her one far too often. :big shock: Mine too but she wants a 1963 Split Window Vette. :face...

Re: Nagant Revolver
Really? Sorry we do not allow open auctions to be shown. Yeah thats odd. Ive never seen an import marked Nagant run that high. Gunbroker is crazy though. More money than brains. Atlantic has the contractor WASRs for $469 and Gunbroker sellers have them listed as super rare "bringbacks" fo...

Re: Starting the Semi Auto collection...
Excellent info Vendetta!!! I have been thinking about a contractor WASR as well. If you get one before me, let me know how it is. Will do. Im in the market for an AK now and am sitting on the cash but our big ([emoji1] ) local gun show is in 2 weeks so I will probably wait until after the show to p...

Re: How does one restore the stock on a mosin?
Has anyone ever considered the possibility that leaving one of these rifles in its "original" chipped-shellac, greasy, beat up looking condition will increase the likelihood that Bubba will someday buy it and sporterize it because it is so rough looking? I know this sounds like I am advoc...

Is this another one of those... "I live in Canada and svt40s are only $150 here" threads? Either way quite the looker. Lol, I do live in Canada, but this isn't one of those threads....heh Very nice! Love the SVT, so much fun to shoot, though not as much fun to clean.. Looks like its in gr...

Re: Starting the Semi Auto collection...
I have looked at those VEPRs as well but I want something that has either been used during a conflict or is a weapon type that has been used during a war. Are Kahr Arms M1 Carbines nice? Specifically the paratrooper model. I would stay away from non usgi m1 carbines. I hear too many horror stories ...

Re: Nagant Revolver
J&g has the surplus for about $4 for 14 rds. Thats where I plan to order some from though I likely will only put a couple boxes through it, clean it up real nice, and store it away.
