Re: need some help and info!
wow, alright. thanks guys. i think ill make him an offer on it just to have it and give it a home. the rifling looked pretty good so it should be a solid shooter if nothing else.

need some help and info!
just looked at a rifle a friend has, he wants to know the rough value (and so do i!) its a british enfeild Mk.III SMLE, with a cut down stock (almost looks like a jungle carbine stock to me) tapped and drilled for a scope (poorly) rough pitted barrel but the rifling is really clean and the crown is ...

Re: not sure where to post this, thought this was the best a
well the thing with the repro is its easy to obtain, and i dont have to worry about messing a piece of history up. trust me it would be the same for mosins and mausers. if i could get modern repro's id shoot them and collect the real ones to be safe queens lol. same for the springfields. plus value ...

not sure where to post this, thought this was the best area.
i figured this was the best place since i see ya'll talking about the company alot in here. ive gotten an itch lately that only a springfield trapdoor would cure. i dont know why but im a sucker for trapdoor style rifles. ive never even fired a 45-70 so i have no idea what im in for looking at them....

Re: H&R 410
i would figure it says ".410-.44cal" because it was probably designed to shoot the .410 shell and the .44 pistol round, its weird though because my dads and grandfather's .410's both say .410-.45. and their both many many years apart and made by different companies. i know you can shoot th...

Re: the "boltman"?
its mostly to help with "sticky bolt". i know i know im supposed to clean the chamber but ive tried many times but no luck. ive even poured boiling hot water and taken a 20g shotgun brush to it. no help at all. did that for an hour one day. so i was thinking an extended bolt would help thi...

the "boltman"?
i was thinking of getting one of his "repro sniper bolts", for my 91/30 to make it easier to work the bolt, does he use modern bolt body's? and are they any good? i figured it'd be nice since its not a permanent alteration. just switch the bolt back and its back to original.

Re: got the mauser.
got out and shot it last night, and wow! i love it! i was expected it to hurt since its such a big round, but it kicks less then my mosin's
and pretty accurate too, the windage setting on the front sight is a bit off but that was it. i do not regret buying it whatsoever!
