Nice one Vati, clean as a whistle That forward slant on the bolt handle has always intrigued me, have never fired one. How is the ergonomics compared to the straight or bent bolt?

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I really can't say yet. I have not had time to mess with it much. From what I have read, the slant makes it work better when working the bolt with the palm of your hand.redspoon wrote:Nice one Vati, clean as a whistle That forward slant on the bolt handle has always intrigued me, have never fired one. I have a MAS 36 (basically the same rifle without the grenade launcher) and I can't say the bolt angle effected anything. It's different but it not like a straight pull action, you still lift the bolt. You hand just hits it differently.redspoon wrote:Nice one Vati, clean as a whistle That forward slant on the bolt handle has always intrigued me, have never fired one. Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

I had one of those and it was actually a very accurate shooter. Wish I still had it.
