1944r Nagant Revolver came in yesterday!!!

Post by evildog »

Just got this yesterday and the ammo came later that day. I picked up the surplus ammo at a little hole in the wall gunshop for $6 and they had a ton of it so i'll be stopping back and getting more. Got the commerical stuff from sportsmanguide to reload and have the Lee die's coming. Will have to take out and see how it shoots and i'm thinking of getting another one already. One of the pics is fuzzy of the trigger that has a tula hammer on it as i'm thinking this was added as it isn't a tula receiver i believe....

Nice. I took my 1939 Tula out for the first time yesterday. I was shooting high at 25 feet. But dead over the bullseye. Not as much kick as I expected.
I will look forward to your shooting report to campare.

Nice revolver Sgt. Rob, i was at Fin & Feather picking up my "MO" dual date mosin nagant rifle last nite and they had 4 nagant revolvers there. Two Tula's and two Izhevsk's, they were going for $199 each.

I am hoping prices come down a bit. I would like to get one more of these, Either Tula or the older 20's type.

Is it my eyes or does that Tula have a slightly plumb colored cylinder?
