They lied, it didn't get down to five last night, it got down to 1, and probably 0. Coldest Christmas eve in my memory, maybe ever for us.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

After a -8°F on Friday it was a Blistering +1°F overnight, time to break out the 30spf sunblock and get the pool ready. 🙄

The best part of today is going to be when my SIL & her husband arrive from Orlando. He swore he would never return to the cold again, and he considers 50°F cold. 🤣

That is the truth! When I moved to Miami, I was amazed that when the temp hit 65, the fur coats came out. I was still in golf shirts and they would ask me, "Aren't you freezing?"

So true, remember back in 2003 we took a cruise out of Miami and our 1st stop was Key West the next morning. Overnight a cold front that was passing through CVG when we flew out hit Fla all the way to the Keys. It was 64° at 9am when we left the ship, in shorts and hawaiian shirts, while the locals where in long pants, sweat shirts and hoodies and looked at us like we where crazy.

Start the day out at around 60 and ends up around 80.
But wait a few months and it will be a different story!
Now is the time for us out here to do our yard re-dos.

That is about where we are at now. We have had a couple of days that were around 85, but the mornings are still pleasant. The last couple of days have been near perfect with, clear, low humidity and pleasant temps. I am afraid that this Summer is going to be rough.

Had a few cool nights in the Florida Panhandle, we dropped a hair under 60° weird for April.

53 here at 3:21am, and a steady rain has been falling all night.

We just got over a drought. We got maybe 150% of normal rain fall. Usually means it's going to be hotter then Hell this summer.
