Bought an m91

Post by njragan56 »

I've been looking at m91s for a while and saw this on GB placed a bid and went to bed. Woke up the next morning and now I'm an onset of an m91. What do you guys think? A good price? I think I got a deal most dealers have the 91/30s at this price in my area.

Nice catch. I am always looking for M91's around that price, as you can always see them listed for $285 and up. Prof

You got a nice "Balkan" M91. I can't see the date but it is a Tula Peter the Great year and a good one to have. The stock and handguard are worth more than what you paid. And then, M91 cleaning rods go for $60 - $100.

Congratulations.

A good Peter The Great Tula M91 with what looks to be a good bore, has cleaning rod & hand guard for the price of a 91/30. A very good deal.

This was the second time this auction was listed, no bids the first time. I was stunned it was up for so long with no bids. Congrats, you got it at a great price.

I'm always hesitant when I think I find a deal on GB. Especially if I'm not to familiar with what I'm looking at and if no one had been bid on it.

I don't know if the splits in the handguard scared off your competition, but you got a good buy. Congratulations on a nice m91. I really like the looks of this one.

I can't wait to get this rifle. I've never fired or held an m91. I'm not sure if I've seen one in person, if I did I didn't have any interest in it at that point. I'm pretty pumped! You guys got me all fired up!

I was watching that one myself. I'm glad you got it, though. Nice first m91. (I say first because you will want more now.)

Dont forget that the bands' screws turn opposite of normal to loosen them. It's easy to forget that on your first m91.
