My91/30 Hex From Classic Has Arrived !!

Just open the box from Classic with the 91/30 Hex i ordered from them. From what i can tell, it looks in great shape, I say that because it is completely coverd in Cosmoline, and i mean coverd !!!! It's a 1933 Tula and that about all i can tell untill i get all that cosmo off, Has all the asssesorys,sling, bottles, pouches (2 sets ) tools and bayo. It has a manual, and was told it is not a Molot, but untill i get the handgaurd off to be sure.

It looks nice! Gotta love those Tula Hex rifles. I have several of them, but my latest hex is a 1933 Izhevsk; I would like to have your Tula to put in the crate beside it. Congats! Oh and, uh, sorry about the clean up you have ahead of you..... My wife would tell me to get that damn thing out of the house! :biggrin:

Very Nice! That is not a Molot. The Molot's tend to come in a white box and they all have their "molot" owners manual with them.

Looks like my Century Import that I got from Big 5 for black friday, right down to the manual and the overdose of cosmo. Looks great thus far, have fun cleaning her up!!!

That's the same manual that comes with a lot of the dunhams mosins, not a molot.

I could grease the truck with that :lol: Not even the Balkans rifles came to me that greased up, but the Turks might have been worse.

I can't remember where I read it (somewhere here?) IT really is just grease. they dipped 'em in a big barrel of hot axle grease which is a little easier to clean than cosmoline.

Molot so far has NOT sold any M91/30s besides the PU snipers. They're only selling the M44s and M38s as of yet.

Very nice "greaser" you have there. :chuckles: :chuckles: I would love to have a non Molot hex like that. I wouldn't complain about cleaning off the goo either.
