They are a blast but it's real easy to put a big dent in the wallet with them in short order too.

A few years ago I never thought I'd be an AR lover but I tried one and I did indeed fall in love with it so now I have two. I can't get good preban HiCap mags for the Armalite really so I am stuck with the 10's in that until I move out of NY but really 10 rounds from that thing is a lot of power down range too.

I feel your pain jfeenin....I blame the US Army for my AR addiction. Fell in love with the Black Rifle during basic training and I have always had 1 or 2. It's a good thing I reload too as these rifles do have a healthy appetite.

Yeah I already have plans for a new 20-24" .243 or .308 heavy barrel (long range) upper for the AR-10. However there are some things in front of it. My next purchase is going to be a 91/30. It's a little more affordable than the upper LOL.
