HI kermit, I read your question to Vic about AIm and if it was real or not.I did not catch on to what the question for VIc at gunboards was and the fellow wanting the prices to change, Just what did you want to find out about AIM?I do a lot of business with them and maybe I can help you answer your question. are they real? aim says yes $570 or so. i just bought a M-44 and it shipped today from AIM.

There is already a thread about the Aim snipers, Bryan from Aim stopped in to reply and it seems the jury is still out, he has not yet had them authenticated.

Are those bayonets right in that picture?

Probably, that is a state propaganda photo, the rifles look like they are leaning a bit sideways making the bayonets look as if they were on the top of the barrel.

I don't think so. Look at the second guy from the left in the picture, his front sight and bayonet.

I will point out that this assho....individual , is not a member of the RMNF, and this thread is on Gunboards not RMNF. Whatever the unpleasantness is it should stay on gunboards were it belongs. We all have to deal with people like this sooner or later, they are a fact of life, he already has a PU sniper that he paid a G for, and he doesn't like the idea that if Aim's snipers are the real thing it could devalue his investment if they are sold cheaper. Total nonsense of course, even if Aim's snipers are real, and selling at that price there are not enough PU snipers available for everyone who wants a real one, the price will remain high, and probable soon go higher. In 1986 I saw Garands selling st $700-$800 prices, in 1991 new shipments from Korea started coming in and the price they sold at was as low as $175 at one point, but in a few years the price shot up again, and is now higher than ever. The best thing to do with these mouthy types is ignore them, they are trolls and if you feed a troll they only yell louder.
