1919 Izhevsk updated dragoon with 1913 Izhevsk receiver.
Bought at Gander Mountain about 10 years ago.

Nice find, this rifle had quite the life before being updated to 91/30 during the post WW2 refurbishings. Not your ordinary Soviet refurb.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.
