Triangle 12 buttstock on 91/30
Triangle 12 buttstock on 91/30
The font appears to be Comm Bloc countries such as Russia, Hungary, Poland. And the 1 looks most like Finland though I don't think it's that. Common sense says it's probably a refurbishment at whatever triangle 12 arsenal / facility is. It's on a 1936 Izhevsk 91/30 with screwed sling holes, no barrel band finger groves or wrist bolt. Thoughts? Thanks.

The triangle 12 stamping is from a still unknown armory/depot. The best reference for Mosin markings and other interesting up to date information is https://www.m9130.info/reference-section

Thank you! I've not seen that site before and will probably read it through in the coming week. The author of that site is a member of this forum and lives in Ukraine and wrote the first new book in a long time, which sold out almost immediately. His work is the most up to date and comprehensive information available.
