Hawken five-0
I took this to a family get together and let two of the other guys shoot it, their first time. They both said they were going shopping for one. So I had to get it out and clean it today, and took a few shots

Re: Hawken five-0
Reviving this old thread.
Post your Hawken rifles here!
Here is mine.
Hawkins Hunter
Investarms
58 Cal.
. . . .
This is a beast to fire with max charge and conical bullets.
With max load and bullet,(not round ball), I can fire 4 rounds on my left shoulder, and 3 or 4 more on my right shoulder.
It will put a bruise on my shoulders. No, I know how to rife a rifle, it is just that much recoil.
Change to round ball with lighter load, I can fire it all day.
I cast my own from pure lead I get from Jim!
