WTS: Decided to sell a large portion of collection

Post by catcracker »

I am gathering information on my collection for possible sale at a National auction. Still in the early stages. But thought I would drop a line here because I know the members here appreciate surplus arms. For now, I will not list them all. But if there is something you are looking for, I may have it. (saves me taking unnecessary pictures, etc.) I live in Columbus, Ohio. I am willing to ship. But that is really expensive. $30 for transfer plus shipping almost makes it not worth purchasing. But here is a start of what I have.
M91/30s from different countries. Different script types. etc.
T53s
M44s
M38s
Nagant revolvers
Romanian m69s
WZ-48s
Remington Model 81
M27
M48A
1894CB New in box Marlin Lever Action .45 Colt
VZ52
M96 Carl Gustafs 6.5x55mm
vr24
Lee Enfield No4, Mk2
IJ70-18a Makarovs
M57
500lb Liberty Safe with dial.

I can't remember the rest.
Thanks.

HOLD

I am going to answer all the requests I have so far. But I can't take any more. I want to be able to answer the requests I have so far in a timely manner. So I need to stop at this point and get caught up.

Thank you for your interests.

The trouble you have going over your collection, trying to decide how to sell things, is that you fall in love with your collection all over again. :? :!:

Sorry all for being absent. Been so buried in crap to do. Never a free moment.
I did experiment with an item on Gunbroker. Turned out much better than expected. Just showed me how out of touch I am with the market. So I am going to try a one or two more there when I get the change. Can I post those auctions on this site?
Thanks for the support.

Per the rules and regs of this site, No active auctions can be posted. Did you even answer or give credence to any of the initial responses from members to your first ad or go just for the cash at Gunbroker?

I answered some. Then got busy. I need to go back through them.
Gunbroker was more of an experiment than "going for the cash". But it did turn out better than expected.

What is the status of your "For Sale" list?
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!
