At 0700 my wife woke me up with "Honey, Cory's here"
Me: Cory who?
Her: Cory our son!
Me: Still asleep, says he's in Iowa.....!
Her: He's in the driveway.......
Me: What........?

We have been trying to get him to move back down here, since 2017, when his fiance dumped him, after she emptied the accounts and shacked up with her married boss. Apparently her boss dumped wife 1 for wife 2, and dumped wife 2 for her.......So she'll get dumped down the road......Poetic Justice! But he's not a quiter and will do anything to make ends meet, so he refused to run home, and has been struggling since.

Anyways his coming home will allow

A) Him to help out his mom with the repairs.
B) Us to help him get back on his feet.

Last time I saw him was in Mar 2017.

Having him around to help his mom, will also help me. Even though I had the right side SI Joint Fusion done in Oct 2019, I've been having issues with my left hip the last few months from pushing myself too hard trying to help her.

At least he didn't marry her. I'm sure that someday she will have a lot of explaining to do... For now, it must be great to have your son home again. Three years without seeing your children, no matter their age, is a long time.
