G43/K43 Question

Did these rifles have a sling specifically used for them, or did they use the standard Kar98k sling?

A quick Google search indicates they used a K98 sling.
FREEDOM...USE IT OR LOSE IT!!

There were some late war cloth slings marked for the G/K43.
