Painted yellow box on stock

In the picture mine is the larger. The other picture in the red circle is a pic I found on a sellers website. Anyone else have one of these?

Got one similar on the buttplate of a T53. Have no clue on the purpose.

Usually the consensus guess is they are some kind of marking used during maybe a counting or sorting operation in the country that previously owned them. The white (generally yellow white) splashes of paint on Finnish ones are said to denote the test rifle they checked from time to time when they were in storage to keep an eye on their condition. When we are talking about Combloc ones I would say it could be any one of a hundred different things. Maybe where Ivan left off counting when he took a lunch break? Whatever it is I would say its not too important. Bill :D
