So zeebill and I have been cataloging our late buddy Kevin Carney's Finn collection, all 56 of them. Well I had seen this one a few weeks ago when we did the first 25. It is really nothing more than a 1933 Izhevesk Finn capture with a stacked front site and finn sling hangers, but what is on the butt is what makes it special......

Anyways we came back home from the Washington PA gunshow, and decided to stop by kevin's place to get a few things we had left up there, and I couldn't wait any longer, I had to bring my new purchase home!!

I'll let you experts do the research, you'll figure it out

That one is really neat. Was watching the thread on the other forum. Couldn't say whether it's authentic or not but I do really like that one!

Pretty sure Kevin never painted it there, so that leaves the Finns, or century....

I also saw it on the other board, but it is still fun to look at. Not sure we will ever be able to piece together the true story, but still a great gun.
