SP101 with a personal story to me

I have always wanted one. Just never found the right deal on a used one. When my grandmother died last year I got a little money. Not much. Split it with the wife and bought a GP100 in .327 mag. I'd never sell that gun. My mom died yesterday. So I thought it fitting to buy this new SP 101 I found online for less than used ones were going for. So now I will have big one and little one. I may even have it engraved with mom's dates on it. Not sure yet. The wife didn't even argue when I told her. She knew I'd buy something....guess I'm like a girl. Makes me feel a little better. Pics up when I get it delivered.

Thank you all. I was up there with her. She had pancreatic cancer and we knew it would be coming soon. I thought I had a 3-4 days left to get back up there. But I was on the phone with dad 10 minutes after I landed here and that's when it happened. The boy and I are going up this week to be with dad/gramps. And for anyone that wants to get my gems while I'm gone you have to fight off 3 dogs and a mean wife that has a pistol in each room with her. :devil2: tha t should cover my blown OPSEC.

But this wasn't supposed to be about all that. It is just a revolver that I always wanted and will always remind me of her like the one for Gram.

It is nice that every time you use either pistol you will remember loved ones. Sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss Buckeye.I think it is great that you bought you something to remind you of her.I am sure she is looking down and smiling at her son with his new toy.You know mom's always spoil their little boy's. :)

I know for a fact my mom spoiled me and my wife spoils my 3 son's bad.I lost my Mother May of 2013,she lived here with us at my house for the last 16 years.I have her Smith & Wesson 38 K-frame revolver and I would not take 1,000,000 dollars for it.
