I had my doubts about this, and I was singing the "I overpaid/buyer's remorse blues," to one of the senior members on here.

He (rightly) told me to man-up and wait and see (in so many words).

Well her she is, and the pics do not do her justice.

 That's a great looking rifle, I would certainly be happy to have that one in my collection! I've over paid for a couple here and there but that buyers remorse tends to go away the first time I take them to the range!

That is one pretty rifle. I had mine out of the safe a few days ago for a routine cleaning and was amazed how nice it is. Some of the 91/59s look brand new. You have a beauty !! Congratulations.... Thanks for sharing the pictures...

I picked one up a couple of weeks ago for $250 and I thought it was a really nice rifle for the price. It was only a tad more than the m44's.

Your rifle is very nice, don't worry about the price now, enjoy the rifle.

You did good. Do not expect your other Mosins to shoot as good as this will.

I've got one coming my way next week, sure hope it's even close to being that nice. That's the best looking Mosin I think I've ever seen.

Thanks all!

I'm used to M91s and M91/30s, so a trip to the range will be very interesting. I'm thinking 50 yards . . .

It will hit accurately at much farther ranges. So I am told anyway, my eyes can't see much at 50 yards, never mind 200.

I would say that whatever range you shoot your others, shoot this one at the same and prepare to be amazed.

My third Mosin was a 91/59... They rank up with the finest Finns if you ask me.

Great 44 Izhevsk!!
