Long considered the pinnacle of Mosin carbine production, Polish produced M44’s ( Mosin kbk wz.44) where produced at Radom from 1951-1955 with a total of 343,000 produced.
I have been lucky enough to acquire a very hard to find 1951 model that is matching numbers and unissued. It has the unusual dark colored hard wood stock, pristine bore, bluing that rivals any sporting rifle, and a polish issued carbine sling.
It will be a nice addition along side my 52 & 53 M44’s

Now that is unreal! O.k., I have to ask. Do you have a time machine that you use to go back and snag these as they come off the assembly line? Damn that one is NICE! Interesting bluing on the barrel bands, too!

Thanks John, no this one came off GB and had a very reasonable BIN, all 3 of my Polish M44's have the "plum" colored barrel bands ( reminds me of the plum B-barrel M39's ) Now to find a 54 and 55 to match up to these.
