Prices going up?

Post by Tcmosin »

Stopped by the local Dunhams tonight just to se if they got anything new on the truck. Was told the prices on the Mosin's is going up, I hope this is just a temporary price increase. I just got started on my collection and there is not a lot to choose from in this area. Has anyone else seen a major price jump?

Major sellers got a letter from importers that as of May 1 all prices will increase. I think the new norm will be $150.00 to $200.00 for 91/30s.

What in life has not gone up? With the way our country is going the dollar will be second class toilet paper unless we wise up and start living within our means as a country. I think we should flush Washington down the toilet and start all over. Bill :x

Just like the collectors before me saw the last of the $50 M91/30's, I think we have seen the last of the $100 M91/30's. It had to happen some day, but I sure wish it could have waiting another 10 years.

Maybe one positive is that bubba won't be spending $200.00 to cut them up.

Buy them all up and don't buy the expensive ones if you let them eat them for a couple of months the prices are bound to go down again. Right now the problem is the sources overseas are trying to squeeze more out of our importers and they are not presenting a united front so there are cheaper selling rifles finding their way in yet. Will be vigilant at my next purchase, will try to keep the price at a minimum. I think your right, if we let them sit on them for a while the prices will come down some.

Good luck with that with the mad gun rush going on, not going to happen. You and I will sit back, they will not.

This rush is crazy annoying, especially when looking at Gun Broker... Can't believe people buy at such inflated prices..
