Hello, I'm Chris, I'm really into Mosins right now. I guess my timing is a bit off. I bought a mosin a couple years ago for $99, now it seems like you cant find them for less than $200.

New member with my 1st Mosin. It's still in cosmoline, which looks to be a pain to clean. I'll post up a thread on it with pics shortly.
I'm a realist. What is that you ask?
Well, an optimist sees the cup half full. A pessimist sees the cup half empty.
A realist doesn't care if the cup is half full or half empty because whatever's in the cup is going to taste like s*** anyway.

Welcome to the board, nice M39
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Thank you! :) I googled Molot Mosin and have seen some pictures. Are they allowed for import to the USA? With the whole Sanctions on Russia thing I heard Saiga are harder to find. I can't find any of the new Molot Mosins for sale. :(
No importations going on right now , or so I am told.

Hi everyone my name is Tom I'm from the UK and am picking up my first ever mosin m44 this weekend so I thought why not join a forum and learn as much as I can about the history of the mosin.
