I am on a trading roll lately, today I traded a 1943 Enfield sporter in an ATI stock for a new refurbed Dell laptop. I'm down to my real rifles now so trading just went expensive.

Good trade so long as it holds together, my Dells tend to blow up, the laptop leading the pack.

I got the Dell from a teacher that teaches computer science and he said that if it goes bad he will replace it. Maybe I shouldn't have given him my last 40 rounds of the POF click-bang I had...I did tell him about it.

I look at this way, that revolver is based on a design that is older than any of us, including JYD, and it still works. Will a computer that's based on 117 year old technology still do what it's supposed to do at that age? Let's face it military pistols are a last ditch weapon or a 'status' symbol for an officer
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

You forgot about what they were used for by the guys way down in the control capsules of the missile silos. Once the missiles had flown, and somehow you survived the retaliatory strike you could sit there in the dark under a radioactive country and starve, or use the pistol.
