I love this gun. My Mosin's might be used a lot less now. :twisted:

SN begins with R 649 but the last 3 are too high based on the chart I saw for 1980 however that could just be the chart's fault. Or it could be an 81 but I thought they were all S marked.

Out of all the SKS's Those look the best. IMHO :thumbsup:

Nice rifle. I bought my SKS about 5 years ago , an N series 1977, and have yet to fire it

Yeah I love the Yugos. I wouldn't have fired it but I happened to be by the big 5 this morning so I picked up 20 rounds. I had an option to buy a Russian but I really couldn't pass this one up. If the Russian's still available in two weeks, it'll have a thread too.

I shoot all my guns. For some reason I just never grabbed it on the way to the club. I have shot the heck out of my Romanian.

Welcome to the Yugo club. Have yet to shoot my 73 but is still my favorite.

That is a nice one for sure.

Ive got a pair of 1970s m59/66A1s and they are great rifles.
