Glad you made it DakotaBoy!!
Double barrels you say? I only have one... I got it when I was 18. It's a Boito from Brazil. Picked it up for $140 at a little Gunshop up in Northern Wisconsin. You would love it. I'll bring it out next spring for you to try.
Here's some pics of it....

Re: Double Barrel 12 Gauge
Welcome, I have been accumulating doubles for years, but as they aren't milsurps I never took pics of them. 10 gauges, 12, 16, 20, and .410, got them all. Hammer guns, percussion guns, hammerless, sidelock, boxlock, all sorts.
Here is a friend of mine shooting a modern 12 gauge coach gun hammerless double
That's all the pics I have at the moment, I will see what I can find tomorrow.

Re: Double Barrel 12 Gauge
I think a coachgun would be fun, but if I get a chance to get a sxs my first may be about 28" barrels, but then again who knows. Dakotaboy, glad you found you way here.

My buddy is shopping for one and the Stoeger Coach looks real good. Nice walnut for $350 locally. Wish I needed one.

Here's one I've been bringing back to life. It's only partially restored but is coming along. It's a Stevens Savage 311E SeriesH from about 1981. You can find them for about $250+ if you look around and they're a nice gun.

Re: Double Barrel 12 Gauge
A couple of weeks ago, Cabela's had two over/under 12 ga. on the used rack. Both were in the $250 range. I was tempted to take 'em both home, but talked myself out of it. I went back the following week-end after reconsidering all week and of course they were both gone. I've never shot an over/under and it would have been fun to try one out.
Cocked, locked and ready to rock...
