Hi to everyone, this is my first post here.
this is a short presentation of myself... i'm 24 and i'm italian. I'm for mostly of the time a german photographer collector i'm interested in that specific period from 1930 to 1947. I recently got the italian permission to have guns and i decided to start this new collection sector regarding the ex-ordenance rifles with of course the most famous rifles in the history... A 91/30 nagant.
here you are some pictures:
i have some questions for you,
how can i understand the meaning of the marks?
i heard some stories regarding the possibility for the cartridge chamber explode regarding izhevsk rifles builded in the 1942, this "story is true, has some reports on it or this is only a clicè?
thanks to all for the patience...

Nice rifle, welcome to the board
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
