Picked up this 1936 tula SA marked m9130.
Bolt, and butt plate match the number on reciever. Looks to be the original tula font. Stock is also tula marked 1936. Bore is very very good. Could this be a winter war capture? The tula arrow in the star only has half of the arrow fetching. Has anyone ever seen a tula arrow stamped this way?
She shoots wonderful.

Interesting and cool rifle. The "6" looked like it was stamped late. Wonder if this was one of the first round receivers? Don't see too many of this year Finn captures. You see a ton of the 1939's though. The Tula arrow does look kind of weird lol... Nice gun

Nice looking Finn capture. It could be either a Winter or a Continuation War capture, I don't see any marks that say for sure. The Finn's started marking captured rifles with a 41 in 1941(I don't see a 41 stamp in the picture but they are sometimes under the woodline). This was replaced by the PUOLUSTUSLAITOS stamp in early 1942 which was itself replaced by the SA stamp around March of 1942. Since your rifle appears to only have the SA stamp that could mean that it was captured after the SA stamp was adopted but this isn't cut and dry because the Finn's were a bit inconsistant in marking captured rifles sometimes. Have'nt seen a Tula stamp like that with the arrows flechings missing on the left side before, doesn't look like they were worn off either.

Yes the arrow is very strange. I've been digging and can't find anything, must have been stamped on a Friday at 4:44. Hah

I had to run check my '36 Tula Hex, it has both vanes on the arrow. The stamp must have broken off a piece.Srupidhaircuts wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 8:02 pm Yes the arrow is very strange. I've been digging and can't find anything, must have been stamped on a Friday at 4:44. Hah
