Just came to my knowledge my friend, excellent pistol shooter, club member of our shooting club, died today night in hospital.
I didn´t know we were both there.

You made it, so many didn't, sorry about your friend. Politicians, and the politicizing of disease, they can all go fuck themselves. I have buried friends because of Covid, spent a year hiding from it, 13 months so far. NY took it hard, still are, anyone who doesn't think this is real needs to visit the Covid ward at the hospital, don't bother with a mask, kiss everyone there, spend a few hours, don't wash. we couldn't even give them proper wakes and funerals. buried quickly with one or two family like criminals in boot hill after the hanging. They died alone because family wasn't allowed even in the room.

I hope your rehab goes well and you make a full recovery. This virus has taken so many in our country before their time. It appears Europe is in the midst of a third wave. Take care and get better.
