New member here I have collected a few 91/30s and a Nagant 1944 revolver as well. I hope soon to start expanding into getting an M44 and the rare m38 to complete my collection. Looking forward to getting more information as to history marking and such on the various models.

Welcome.... Problem is that the concept of "completing a collection"... can get out of hand... M-38's aren't all that rare. Still a bit uncommon but from a price perspective, for some reason, not rare. And, really, based on the prices they are selling for based on M-44's, you should be able to pick one up for not too much. For some reason in the last 5 years or so, they haven't been getting much love.

Welcome to the board, the Nagant revolver is the model of 1895, that, and the M38 shouldn't be that hard to find. How about the M1891 original?
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Welcome to the forum. We would like to see pictures of your rifles and your M1895 revolver. You will find a lot of good information here about collecting and shooting these war relics.
