The other bigtime 45 a.c.p.

Post by sheepdog »

The Sig P220. This is the P220r Equinox that comes from the Sig custom shop. Just over 30 ounces without the mags. 10 lbs pull in DA, 4 lbs. in SA. Siglite rear sight, Truglo front sight which is impressive. Came with two Sig mags and 2 aftermaket ACT mags that work fine. I said no more firearms purchases after I retired in 2017, only firearms sales, but had the cash and it was priced right, extremely right. One of those deals I just couldn't pass up.

Sweet.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Dog, that is a nice firearm! Congrats.

I said the same thing about firearm purchases when I retired too. I lied.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

If that pistol shoots as good as it looks it will be punching one jagged hole most of the time.
