I never met a revolver I didn't like at least a little bit. After buying a Ruger Wrangler I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it and for only 200.00. So I spent another 30 bucks for grips to dress it up a little. Then I came across a Christmas sale that I couldn't resist. Everyone knows of the Heritage Rough Rider and has a opinion on them. What I was hearing was that the negative comments were almost entirely by people who didn't actually own one. So I joined the ranks of people that owned Rough Riders and liked em and I ordered online a birdshead model combo, which includes a 22 mag cylinder. For the price I was really surprised at how well the pistol feels. The finish is ok, not like a nice blued revolver, but that's how they do it. That's how they keep the cost down. And it's lots of fun to shoot. I paid 129.00 plus another 20 to my FFL dealer.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

You guys got me looking. $129.00 with both cylinders sounds like a killer deal. Palmetto has those in .22 L.R. without the extra cylinder for $119.00. I showed the deal to my son and I think he is going to get one. I love it when he gets one, and I get to play with it for free. If I am slick, I will be able to shoot his ammo too!
