With help from a member of the "Gunboards Forum", I now know the answer. Polish M44 Carbines were manufactured from 1951 to 1955. Of hundres of Polish M44's observed, all were within the 1951 to 1955 year dates. If any other year date exists, it hasn't shown up in the study and likely is not a part of regular production.
Any information suggesting Polish M44 production as early as 1948 and as late as 1962 is incorrect and based on speculation, not fact or years of exhaustive survey effort.
My thanks to K - H.
