1901 Izhevsk 91/38

Post by racerguy00 »

Was able to make a deal to snag my first 91/38 carbine recently. I was happy to get it, and even happier that it's a great compliment to my 1901 91/30.

Really nice bore, new production stock with some interesting features. Bolt or Ep'd, the other parts force-stamped matched. My 91/30 is the second photo.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Very nice. I saw the rug that rifle was laying on (in the first photo) and I though, someone steal my M91/38? That is a close match to our rug! (but not the rifle)

Congratulations!!

Very nice 91/38. Congratulations. It is the first this year for my 91/38 database and a nice addition.

This might tell you something. Not a lot of them being traded?? Harder to find?? These rifles could become difficult to get your hands on at some point.

Ooh heck yeah I like it. What is up with that rear sight? Is it different? Unique? Need some pictures I can't stand the suspense.
