1916 Berlin Gew98 Mauser

Post by Aksierra »

Hello everyone,

So i was digging around in my old mans safe and pulled this rifle out. I am looking for a little bit of information on it if anyone knows. It is a K98 Mauser Stamped Berlin 1916. It looks to have a flip up muzzle cover, Bolt dust cover, and trench Mag. All of the parts on the rifle look to be matching, i am unsure if the flip up, dust cover, or trench mag were serialized as well.

Ill let the pictures to the talking.

The "MARNE 1918" is a sobering bit of trench art. The Marne was a horrible battle.
