1942 Izhevsk
Picked up a new addition. Pretty common 42 Izhevsk. I didn't have a war time "rushed out the door" machining example so that was one I have been wanting to pick up. This one is all matching with a great stock and very clean.

Nice, a great example of a refurbished wartime 91/30. The stock is beautiful crosscut that gives the impression of a laminate.

As others have said, that's a very nice piece of wood there. War time machining doesn't seem the worst either. Congrats

What is the import marking and where is it stamped. I suspect maybe a Molot as a lot of them they seemed to pretty up the wartime machining with modern methods. Bill

It's the smaller single line RGuns stamp on the receiver.zeebill wrote:What is the import marking and where is it stamped. I suspect maybe a Molot as a lot of them they seemed to pretty up the wartime machining with modern methods. Bill

Re: 1942 Izhevsk
What are you talking about Bill? I don't see any "moderning up" on that receiver, just a very nice example of a 42 wartime Izhevsk. I love this one.

Nice! Reminds me of my 42 Izhevsk.
