Romanian M44

Post by NLMosin »

Got a Romanian M44 to round out my M44 collection. Its a numbers matching '55. The action is smooth as butter and I cant wait to shoot it. This is the youngest mosin in my collection. There is a Yugoslavian arsenal marking on the stock. Bought it right. Happy day.

Nice. I have a Russian that was reworked by the Yugo guys. Should be a good one.

Saw that one on GB, don't quite what to make of the TRZ1 stamp being on a Romanian M44.

Was that you I was battling with that night of the final minutes of the auction Millertyme?? I thought Super Bowl night who the heck else is going to be watching an auction on GB besides me...the other guy gave up and I got it for 285.

The mark on the stock wasnt the draw...I wanted a Romanian and at the price I got it I was happy. If the mark turns out to be unique all the better. 8-)

No, not me, saw it and thought about it but the gun fund is a little low after the past couple of weeks.

Does yours have the mark on the stock?

Yes. And I'd agree with MT that it's odd on a Rommy.
