42 Izhevsk 91/30 Instructie

Post by Miller Tyme »

Scratch another of the list, picked myself up a very well worn Istructie 91/30. It is your typical well worn Romanian rifle but the bore, while dark, has surprisingly good rifling.

Now to find me a Dragoon to complete the set.

Outstanding example of a '42 complete with the expediente finish of tool chatter marks.

 Very nice Miller Tyme! Good luck with finding the Dragoon Instructie. The only Dragoon I've seen in person was an Instructie, at a local gunshow a year and a half ago. It was a wall hanger at best but it's the closest I've been to either a Dragoon or Instructie.

With the chatter marks did they (the machinist) use a machine rule or a pair of calipers to determine the width of the part.
