Man, this show "WW2 in Color" on AHC...

Post by JayPoc »

...is stunning. Lots of milsurp porn. Mosins very often. Tonight is on Hitler's Barbarossa offensive. No worries though, the Rooskies have it running in the right direction after halftime. I often wonder as I watch the columns of Red Army march past the camera with their rifles on their shoulder....hmm, maybe mine are in there somewhere?

Was just watching and thinking the same thing. Guess the best way to better the odds a little is to buy more.... :shifty:

Seen it I don't know how many times, that channel is always playing in the background when I am home.

The "Cobra" fellow had the PU.

World War Two in Colour is hands down the best documentary series on the war. Second place would have to be "The World at War".

The sad part is, it's virtually nonexistent on the American market. The only copies of the series I can find online are all sold out of the UK, Australia and New Zealand. The discs are region locked of course so they wont play on American dvd and blu ray players. Luckily the entire series is available to watch on youtube.

Yeah, the world at war is available here. I just picked up a remastered blu ray edition, it's a fantastic series.
