I purchased some coated 230 grain cast bullets from Missouri Bullets this week and tired them out in my Ruger. They shot really well and thanks to that high tech baked on coating I had nothing to speak of in the bore after 100 rounds today. Clean up was a snap. I'll be buying more of these in other calibers. It was only 23 degrees out today but I wanted to try them out, check out the pictures and see what you think.

Nice shooting. The SR1911 is a great version of the 1911. The coating on the bullets sure looks funky, but function is what's important, so glad they work well. How are the prices on them, and where can they be gotten?

I bought these from Missouri Bullet on line, I've been buying cast bullets from them for a while. Pricing is reasonable and they have been very reliable.

Vendetta I shot that at 15 yards with my SR1911 and Rongo you have the right site but I bought the 230 grain bullets they show them in Black but arrived in the Red. I shot two different loads with AA#5 8 grains and 8.2 grains, the Ruger liked the hotter load COL was 1.270" Load charty says 1.230" but that seemed a little short to me.
