Last strippy M39. Sky, which is also hard to find with strips.

SKY marked 1943 Finnish M39
1919 Tula Receiver
Wartime rounded finger joints
Tula Marks on Receiver, and butt plate,
SKY 43 wartime stock

Last one. This is the last of the "uncommon" M39's I own. The rest are just normal M39's! Besides, you guys must be getting tired of them by now. Maybe I'll list my M27's next.

Very hard to find these days Finnish M39 "Tikka" (Tikkakoski)
1897 Izhevsk "antique" receiver

I payed $200 for this rifle this year! The rifle was disassembled when I bought it. The owner disassembled it to "refinish" the stock and died before he could do it. 8-)

Nice rifle! Having tiger striping or flames makes an M39 a work of art, but they're lookers even with a clean stock.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I had to show these to a friend today. He's a gun nut and collects Browning shotguns, S&W revolvers and 1911's. He's not real fond of the Mosins but he was digging your tiger stripe stocks.  I of course had to browse through the entire thread yet again. What a beautiful collection of M39's.

I was going to say how impressive your collection is but it's more like a museum. Wow....

He has some really nice photos of his others too at www.thedolk.com and if you click on the pics you can see some great details. Then you will feel like you are in a virtual museum. :P
