My new M91/30 and M38
Two pretty nice examples. Neither is import marked. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. The album of them is here:

Looks like a nice pair. Are either of them counterbored?

Wow !! Impressive.
Re: My new M91/30 and M38
Original matching Soviet guns. Simply outstanding. Rarely seen.
The relief cut for the rear band on the '40 M38 is similarly shaped to my '39 in a short collar stock. I've seen enough of these lately to begin thinking that the cut is OEM, and not added at a later date of refurbishment. Obviously, yours is NOT refurbished in any way.
Did I say "Outstanding" yet? Because they really are. Thanks for posting these beauties.

No words of wisdom come to mind at this time....

Guys, make sure you check out the album link in the OP, there's a lot of detailed even better pics there.
Do you see any? They're indeed non-Finn'ed too! This is largely what really sets them apart IMO.MarksmanTim wrote:Very nice! And I assume these are not Finn Captures/Finn marked?

I sure like these. Eye candy for dessert, since I was looking at these while on lunch break.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
