Re: I,m back and I got this today

Great deal. ATF may not consider antique black powder a firearm but here in NJ get caught carrying or driving with (unsecured or not to range, home, business, or FFL) with a 18th century Flintlock Pistol and its the same penalty as carrying a brand new 9mm handgun.

I believe it is a M27 Bayonet. At least that is what I was told when I bought it.

Double Struck FISKARS M28/30/35 Bayonet

Has anyone seen the FISKARS stamp below SK.Y on a M28/30/35 Bayonet struck twice or is this something that someone tried doing with a stamp themselves?

Re: RE: Re: My Finnish Collection

Very nice. I really like the stock disc on the M27. I got that M27 from Martin08. I must admit I originally wanted to try and find an Original Unit Stock Disc, but after throwing it out there on the forums I realized it was best to leave it as is. It looks like it was done many moons ago...

My Finnish Collection

Finally got around to displaying my Finns. One wall is just Mosins the other wall is a mix but in the middle I have Finnish used Carcano, Tikka 91/30, and (2) Finn Captured SVT-40s. The Ljungmand at the bottom was mainly because I had the space and also I figured Swedish Rifle fit the general theme....

Re: Are we missing anybody?

I can understand the police taking the guns into custody if the house and weapons were not secure and there was no immediate family in the area , however they need to take the utmost care of the firearms and turn them over to his heirs in a timely manner. Problem is at least here in NJ most local po...

Re: Buddies M44 value

I definitely agree without pics it is impossible to give idea of true value. I was assuming it was matching. Non matching in OK condition I would say under $200. Man, I wish I had those prices in my area :-) I guess geography does indeed play a factor. I think it definitely does. I have yet to find...

Re: New here please educate me

Nice find. I have a war year Sako M39 as well. Great Rifle. I live in NJ. I too would love to see guns at yard sales. Here it would be legal I believe for rifles as long as seller and buyer had FID but NJ gun laws are so screwy I don't think anyone would take the chance

Re: Morral Dilemma ?????

I don't see the dilemma you buy the rifle you have 2 matching rifles the way they were made. If I could find a K98K bolt with serial 770 or 770n I would buy it and swap out my non matching bolt as long as it was the original bolt since all my other parts match. I hope rifle is still available for yo...

Re: My Mosin Collection

I wasn't even thinking about the Snipers or Dragoons but I am now. Just received the M28/30 and the Izhevsk SVT-40. This one the upper handguards are very loose. My other one is not loose at all. It seems to be the poor fit of the wooden upper handguard. Is this somewhat normal? Also is there any fi...

Re: New Members, Make your first post here!

Hello from NJ. I've been bitten by the Mosin Bug more specifically the Finnish Bug. My first Mosin was an all matching Hungarian M44 purchased only 6 months ago. Then I picked up a Finnish M27 and it was all over from there. In just the last month or so I've purchased a Finn M91, M28/30, M39, and no...
