Finally got to get my first P38.

My first thought was that it looked like it was aluminum

It has import marked serial number. Mount looks fake. I'm going with 99.9% full of Bologna

Old Czechoslovakia mark.

I don't get the carbine market right now. 91/30s selling for 250-300 and carbines sit at 250. They just haven't seemed to move up at all. But I'm guessing in time they will. If I saw a M38 south of 300 I'd be on it.

The one I posted has the refurb box. But I guess that doesn't mean there could have been a prior refurb.
