Yep, been buying pistols like this marked by the Germans like the 38h and Radoms. For the history and price point they are a no brainer in my mind.

Pistole Modell 27

Several years ago I bought a Sauer 38h off a guy. He also had one of these but only had cash for one. Been kicking myself ever since for not buying it. But one popped up today in a local ad and ran for it. I think is about a 1942. I like the German pistols that are under appreciated. Has some histor...

Re: Lubbock find

Those were in the boxwith the pistol? Awesome. I don't get sceered much, but it gives me the creeps to think what that pistol has been used for. I hope I find something like that in my lifetime. No I ordered the Iron Cross and defense shield. They just happened to be waiting on me when I...

Lubbock find

Went to Lubbock for work. Decided to hit a shop. Walked around 3 times and was about to leave and did a 180. Another P38. AC 44 this time. Just took it apart and everything matches. Has what I think is some blood pitting on the left side of the slide. Also had two items waiting on me when I got home...

Re: Gunshow ammo find.

Tell us you got a bargain..... I'm afraid the bargains are few and far between. I paid $280 for the crate and was glad to get it. At just shy of 32 cents a round its a good price by todays standard. Plus I get the tins and crate...if I can only figure out how to open it...no can opener with these c...

Re: Getting a new MN

To me it's a little high. Most around here are selling around $250. Still some deals at 200 or less. The other day a listing for "old Russian rifle" was posted asking 150. It sold in 10 min. Was a mint polish M44.

I know what you mean. Just bought an iron cross and an infantry assault badge to make a display box with the P38. Will also include a pen knife my grandfather took off a German soldier he captured.

I have a 1911 one I got from Academy. Use it to plink beetles, spiders and other insects in the garage. It's actually pretty accurate. Also have a full auto MP40. BB's all over the garage. Lol

Re: Where can I get a nice PU sniper?

Saw one at a store near Fort Worth this morning. It was a CAI import. But looked pretty close to being correct. Mixmaster numbers though.
