Re: NRA Declared as a Domestic Terror Group in SF

I guess it is always easier to blame someone else for your failures, than take the blame yourself. Nothing surprises me anymore. Think of the craziest thing "they" could come up with next, and it will probably happen.

I know that feeling. It isn't the rifle it's my quickly failing eyesite.

My club range doesn't want me using steel core bullets, so I avoid buying them.

Re: Miss fires on my 1928 M91/30

S&B 7.62x54r wasn't the best new ammo I have shot. I seem to remember it chambering with some difficulty in my M91, but I didn't have any fail to fires. Try some different ammo if all else fails.

Re: Finish m27 vs m39

I wouldn't say they are more accurate. I would say the M39 is just the next step in the evolution process. M39 added new designed rear sight, and stock. Both my M27's shoot great. So do my M39's.

Re: Is 0000 steel wool too abrasive?

I typically use the bronze wool myself. Maybe not as aggressive, but I oil it up and clean rust off of bluing without causing damage.

Re: Countdown clock

Congrats on your long career and retirement. My boss is retiring in three weeks, and he has been working here for 45 years. He is kind of freaking out also. Not sure what he is going to do with his free time. He doesn't have hobbies. At least you got your Milsurps to look after :)
