If you do get a Carcano I would suggest the 6.5 as the 7.35 will be a lot harder to find ammo for. Unless you don't plan on shooting it much. Watch for guys walking around with them. I usually see one or two that way.

Those bayos can sell for more than the rifles. But its the folding knife bayo not the folding spike one.

I paid $80 about 6 months ago at a gun show for one similar to the one you describe. Now if it was not [SA] marked in the same 7.35 it would be worth more, a lot less of those around. If it had the original folding knife bayo then double the value.
