Re: Accused of impersonation

Walmart.com, the answer to having to deal with the amazing crop of human shit that washes up on Walmarts shores. I haven't set foot in a store in years, I always mail drop whatever the fuck I want from them. Mostly oil and other vehicle fluids, the online prices are hard to beat for anything I am n...

Re: ATF

'bout now you are probably getting a hint of why I dropped the FFL over a decade ago. I decided I didn't want uncle to have any excuse to crawl up my ass about anything. FFL is very convenient when you are actively collecting new items into your collection and want to do it quickly, but it does kin...

Re: Are these worth anything?

Price the cost of a new commercial rifle in .30-06 ( closest you will likely find to 7.62x54r) anything built as stout as the Mosin 91/30 will run one hell of a lot more than $300. Commercial sporters are smoother and maybe nicer finished than the Mosin, and new of course, but in the end both rifle...

Re: 1943 matching Izhevsk Sniper or ?

I know it's really early, my apologies. I'm in the process of procuring an "original" Mosin PU sniper and I had a question. The rifle is all serial numbers matching Izhevsk. The stamped serial for mount and scope appears to match the secondary serial on receiver, but it's different than t...

Re: Fed's stepped in

Federal courts stepped in and tossed the California Ammo laws out the door. Deemed UN-Constitutional! It was like buying a firearm for a while. You had to give a thumb print and register and wait for your ammo. Only a box or so at any time. All tossed out. I'm sure they will be back again. They jus...

Re: SG Ammo Not Accepting Orders

Your not kidding Weldon I use SGammo exclusively unless Joe happens to have something I want, and when I saw his ship dates getting pushed out I was like well this isn't gonna be good. Interesting side note though seems like 7.62/.308 isn't being hit as hard or their was just more inventory of that...

Re: SG Ammo Not Accepting Orders

I have never seen this situation after all these years I have been doing business with SG Ammo. https://www.sgammo.com/ Yeah Sam's been seeing heavy traffic for a while now but starting on Monday the 9th he had a notice that orders placed that day wouldn't be processed until Friday the 13th that we...

Re: AR-15 Lower Build

I chose the Vortex Spitfire 3X Prism scope as an optic for this build. Mounting and bore-sight complete. Looks great on this rifle. Isn't building your own fun? I have two built on Anderson lowers, one is an M16A2 clone with triangle hand guards and the other is an M4 Carbine build. I also have two...

Glad you got it back up Darryl. I emailed you guys off site so now I know it wasn't just me. No need to reply to the emails. And ...

Re: Damn Fox

Very close to were I sleep, coyotes in a pack can't seem to do anything quietly, even with the AC on I would have heard the yipping. They also don't like to approach the road or were people live, probably the result of a few traffic related fatalities, and assassinations by pissed off petless homeo...

Re: Damn Fox

When I pulled out the gate this morning I found a fawn, or small doe, hard to tell as all I found was it's ripped off head, and a big blood stain. Lovely, looks like the mountain lion DEP swears on a stack of bibles doesn't roam here is back. Of course they said that about the bears for 20 years of...

Re: Damn Fox

I have a possum that comes out to eat with the cats in front of the shop, so far it's been on it's best behavior and I haven't seen any half eaten kittens. The coons on the other hand can be naughty, some of them have met with unfortunate accidents over the years. Coons are problem solvers and they...

Re: Damn Fox

I don't think that cover will withstand a determined air assault. I wasn't sure what you meant by the cover then I looked at the pictures again and I see what you mean. Yeah a coon or possum will climb right up the side and slip under that. I hadn't even noticed that. I have foxes here, a lot of th...

Re: Damn Fox

You know they are diggers right? So are coons. I caught one a few nights ago trying to dig under the run fencing. I buried it a foot or so when I built it and have rocks and bricks in spots where it' eroded some and that little bugger was moving the rocks and bricks to try to get under the fence so...

Mike I'd like to have seen that, seeing as how he didn't actually drop your Garand. Was that your .308 Garand? This is a good thread Steve. My goal in life is to own a Garand before I die. Preferably way sooner! :) Yes Russell it was that Garand. I wouldn't have done this with just anyone but this ...

Late to this party and I just watched the sweat merchant Big Ben unwrap these in the video. I know not everyone can be an expert on all mil-surp rifles, I'm certainly not, but listening to his salesman pitch BS makes me cringe. I'm halfway through the video and he's talking about the "es two ch...
