Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
Yup, this one wants the .308 bullets, so I have a lot more options available for reloading.

A new to me Finnish m28-76

It's been a while since I've posted up a new rifle but mostly because it's been a while since I bought one. This is the first new one for the collection since last year. I figure that if I'm only going to get one this year then it might as well be a good one. I've had my eye out for an m28-76 for qu...

Re: What is the going rate of 91/30’s and T-53’s?

Was up at our local Cabelas yesterday and for the first time in very long time, they had a large number of Mosin's sitting on the racks. There were probably about 20 or so in all. None of them had the recent large billboards on them, if they were marked it was a very small stamping on the left front...

Re: Mag interrupter

Hi folks, Is the interrupter supposed to keep the cartridges from rim locking? What has been your experience with this working, if so? Mine isn't great, even with pretty strong springs. Is there a 'cure' I can perform? Loading the clips a certain way almost always fails due to jostling during handl...

Congrats Mogunner, that's a good looker. Yup, Lotema beat me to it. Between us we have 3 Wz48's and all 3 shoot the Thunderbolts hands down better than any other domestic stuff & as he stated as well, all the European stuff keyholed or had spreads like a shotgun. I really enjoy shooting mine. A...

Re: Value for 1891-1912 (M91) Tula - no import markings

This appears to be the gun's twin brother, so I have a decent idea now on value. It is not in quite as good of shape as the attached - so probably not worth quite as much. Thank you all for your help. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/735395291 Just know that items sold by that guy (sreisel, aka gray ...

Re: My local Cabelas

Wonder if this is a result of them having been bought out by Bass Pro. Will be a real shame if that's the case, always enjoyed browsing through the used stuff. Haven't been up to our local one in a while. Was planning on heading up there in the next couple weeks to stock up on some supplies.

Re: 1940 M28/30

Nice find, looks to be in good shape. You might want to wait on deciding you'll never get another one. Once you shoot the m28/30, you'll realize it really is the Cadillac of Mosins! My 28/30 has been to the range more in the last year than any of my other ones, probably more than any of the other on...

Re: WZ48

Looks to be in really good shape mogunner. You got it out to the range yet? Titanium Hammer and myself have found all of ours really like the Thunderbolt ammo. Tried giving mine "good" ammo and it wound up making key holes. Give it the cheap stuff and it creates great groups. Hard to compl...

Re: Gun Control Push

I would contact, I would try but...Bullshit, do it anyway. What do you have to loose? I do contact my reps on every gun bill, however futile it may be...just to make my voice heard. Sadly, when your rep is the current democrat Senate Minority Leader, you're opinion falls on deaf ears. I emailed my ...

Re: Experimental Mosin-Nagant Rifle Chambered in 7.62x39mm

4 years of work certainly makes you wonder how many were produced and are sitting in a crate somewhere. Probably very few if any but you never know.

There are a lot of interesting post war variants in Chumaks book. Some really blended the SMS and mosin even more.

Re: Gun Control Push

The MSNBC poll is just an echo chamber. I saw another poll last week from a Tennessee TV station asking whether people supported an Assault Rifle ban and the response was ~90% against the ban with over 50k people responding. Well, over 50k responses anyhow. Their poll wasn't identifying individual c...

Re: The M1 Garands are here.

Good to see that they got some fresh rifles to keep them going for a while. Really wish they'd get some M1 carbines in as well. That one is still on my want list. Curious to see the condition of the Philippine ones, have heard some mixed reports on those.
