Last time I was at Axis Arms, he had carbine crates. Don't know how much they were. May want to call him and find out.

Re: Ohio Gun Collectors Assn meeting

I will try to make it. But it's 50/50.
There are not too many bargin prices there. But there is a pretty good selection. And always interesting to me.

Shameless plug for our sponsor. Axis Arms has plenty of crates of all sizes if anyone is interested. :D

Re: Gun show

I try to go to gun shows with low expectations. That usually works. Usually don't come back disappointed.

How can you tell if rifle is Spanish civil war?

someone is selling a rifle claiming it to be a Spanish Civil War 91/30. It does not have the USSR or URRS stamps. Also no import stamp. Year 1937. It does have hangers. But can't someone add those to any rifle?
So need help. What should I look for? Price $200.
Thanks.

Good luck bill. I worked in a surgical hospital. They have made a lot of advances in the past few years. You should be fine.
Again, best of luck.

This does not have any MOLOT markings whatsoever.
So darn, no CIS fans. I was hoping for some type of magnetic powder and a feather wave of some sort would be suggested. Too bad.

No date

I picked up a very nice condition, laminated stock, round receiver 91/30 for a great price. I'm pretty sure it's post WWII production. But I can't be sure. I believe I can see an Izhevsk arsenal mark. The serial number is clearly stamped. But the date is not there. The receiver is super smooth round...

Re: Coming Soon ----Next Week??

I don't know if it is proper putting this comment in this thread. But since we are talking about the "sale" at classic, I found the Romanian Tokarev to be a fair deal. SAMCO has them for 199.00. But they don't come with all that is in the picture at Classic. Tokarevs have been increasing i...
